An Accredited Exercise Physiologist is a university qualified allied health professional.
Exercise physiologists work with people of any age from those who are healthy to those at high risk of developing or with, chronic medical conditions and injuries.
After an assessment and detailed discussion with each client, an exercise program is prescribed that is safe and individualised based on medical conditions and/or injuries, previous and current exercise and goals. It is also suitable for those who have never exercised before and are looking to start in a safe and supportive environment. Education and advice on exercise and lifestyle modification is provided.
